What information do we collect?
When you make an enquiry or place an order through our website Rose Petals Celebrations, the data I collect includes your contact details and images sent for bespoke orders, this includes your name, email address, phone number and address (if you are having your items posted). I never have access to your finical information when you make payments via PayPal or Stripe on our website. All sensitive financial information is held securely by the processing companies and they never share this with me or anyone else.

How do we use personal information?
When you place an order with me either through the website, email or Facebook messenger, you give me sufficient information about you to enable me to process the order, this can also include bespoke items that require photographs, these are sent to me by yourself either via email or Facebook message. The only person that has access to these is me as I am the sole designer and creator at Rose Petals Celebrations. Personal images supplied to us to create bespoke orders are immediately deleted once your order is complete, however we will ask your approval to post photos of the bespoke product on our website, Facebook page and Instagram accounts.
If you give permission for us to share photos of your bespoke products I have created, and you change your mind about any approval given at a later date, please message us requesting we remove this and we will do so within 24 hours.
As for other information such as name, address (if your items are being posted), your phone number and or email address. Only myself and my mum have access to this information. We will never pass this on to anyone else and my mum only has access to this information when filling my accounts each month for my tax return. This information is held in my order folder and on my computer, which is password protected. Your name and amount you spend is stored on a spreadsheet on both mine and my mum’s laptop for accounting and tax return purposes, both computers are password protected. This information must be held for a minimum of seven years for tax return purposes for the inland revenue after this time all printed paper documents will be shredded securely, and digital copies deleted.
All emails are hosted by outlook and are securely stored via password protection.
Going forward we will soon be offering a newsletter for exclusive offers and seasonal previews and maybe a discount code or two. Information on how this data will be used will be updated here once this has been set up.
What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?
As mentioned above a lot of your personal data is collected purely to fulfil your order and for accounting and tax return purposes. However, once our newsletter is set up this will require your consent, which you are entitled to withdraw at any time you see fit as this is for marketing and promotional use rather than legal use

We will never share your personal data with anyone other than Rose Petals Celebrations
Where do we store and process personal data?
Your data is stored on my password protected computer and my order folder which is kept in my house, each month my mum is given the previous months accounts to file on to the spreadsheet and are then given back to me to store for me tax return.
How long do we keep your personal data for?
Your personal data is kept for a minimum of 7 years for tax return purposes which the inland revenue request I do, in case they decide to carry out a tax investigation.

On our links page we link to other party companies we have worked along side or used personally for our son’s parties. However, we do not endorse or take any responsibility should you choose to use any of these companies that is done through your own judgement
Requesting what data I hold on you or getting your data removed
You can ask me at any time what data I hold on and I will give you full details free of charge. You also have the right to ask that your details are deleted or amended. Please not some of your information is legally required for me to file my tax return but I will advise you of this should you request this.
